Funkee Monkee Eatery and Bar - Bunbury

The staff where everything was amazing, eating was bad dessert was terrible could not eat it. price for the set menu if booked no mention of the set menu for this night. the personal was very friendly and amazing.

We like the decoration of the restaurant and we got a table we reserved. the waiting staff was friendly and helpful and needed time to explain the menu. the Australian punjabi we order was nice. the funkee wings was ok, but would be better without the mayo placed on all wings, but we think this court was far overpriced for only 6 half wings on the teller, which only works 3 chicken wings for $14!

I was very disappointed that I was greeted for our booking at 19 o'clock to say that we are here for the drag show, and I said no we are by perth and a booking a few weeks made just to say that we are in an hour around 8 o'clock as they are a drag show. to insult, I asked the waitress about their $5 vodka special, which was on their website abs they said they would not offer as they did not make money. I explained they need to update their website. the service was poor, hurried, and no one had a smile or some kind. we will not be back.

Booked online 3 days before the day, an email confirmation also received an SMS confirmation and an SMS reminder on the day of booking. when we arrived at the restaurant, they had no record of our booking. Wife ordered a margarita cocktail and for the first time we have ever done during dinner, sent it back without trace of tequila, calculated us $10 for a shot in, on the original $16. we asked if they could clear out our stockplates, but they all came together and the last dish came out, we waited 10 minutes for the rice. it is a nice restaurant with great eating, but has some problems.

Wait staff were very pleasant , wrong share plate was served, correct one arrived but all took over an hour for one dish , was not that busy , plenty of spare seats . Drinks were expensive and food was bland , seafood share plate tasted like frozen ready to eat , smoked salmon out of a supermarket packet , mussels so tiny they could have been beach pippies.
