Excelente comida, y muy bien atendidos.... Primer visita al puerto... Satisfechos realmente. Esperamos regresar nuevamente
Kudos an saul and his beautiful volk. as we traveled from cali to buenaventura we have seen the ride and the great landscape we have seen on our 3 hr drive to this harbour in the Pacific Coast. I had visited and visited over 35 years ago. it still remains a typical coastal city. what we had not expected was a jewel of a restaurant in cafe pacifico. our gps stood right in front of an inconspicuous door and landed us with great woodwork, artworks and typical baskets of the region to this magnificent ambiente. to our surprise, the owner saul monard and his mother with open poor and a hospitable feeling that has evolved into an extraordinary experience. byron, our barman served us a delicious handcrafted beer, developed directly there by saul, a great taste, a low alcohol and a beautiful spumante taste. we talked to saul about living and politics while he recommended, and we decided to choose what from the amazing menu. we had a “Piangua” dish for an appetizer with a splash of cocos oil on the top and “Tostones” to draw on such delicate, yummy. our main courses included a “Sea bass” for my wife with this cocosura that gave it a pronounced taste of the ortes where we. I chose “la cazuela de maris we didn't want to go, we would have had the rest of the afternoon, and with saul over the U.S. elections, food sustainability and how passionate he was about his people and how he included his community in this culinary life experience he lives daily. when I say, "Kupdos to saul" I mean it. thanks for a great experience that they give us a nice afternoon at a place we will definitely visit again. beyond the challenges of our current world order to survive, this place still gives a better value for the buck. it is not the corner restaurant and not the cheapest, but it is certainly good worth. we could have been drinking some of the new “Viche” concoctions sauls all afternoon, but we had a long trip back to cali, but we promised we would be back. so if they are in buenaventura as soon as they pass better and visit them saul and his cafe pacifico. when we pulled out the chefs, his staff stood on the stairs to wish us well and to thank us for our patronage. another unforgettable moment in the time. carpe diem mauricio zuñiga aka “M better views”
