Pappagallo's Mexican - Bulverde

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you're looking for incredible Tex sex, that's a local favorite. The food comes quickly, hot from the oven, and fresh ingredients. My personal favorites are the Tres Colores enchiladas, and the Rind sizzling fajitas. It's a family restaurant so the servers have been the same for years. Service is usually great, but sometimes when they are busy, it could take a few minutes to refill your tea. Fortunately, the tea glasses are HUGE. They make their own chips and salsa. The salsa is consistently good and a little on the warm side. (not hot enough for me, but I really like spicy salsa) Prices understand what you expect from most Tex Mexican restaurants. Enchilada plate and drink about $10. You could use a larger dining room, as it usually gets full during lunch.

Good food, very fresh, excellent beef and chicken fajitas, taco salads and tacos. Cheese enchilathe average, large barracho beans, tasteless rice. Warm chick to die caramel apple cake, save space or share! Service very friendly and attentive. This place has less than 20 tables and is tiny, loud with low ceilings. But it is very clean and worth a visit!

SUCCESS! BEST MEXICAN. FOOD. EVER. IN. TEXAS. Black fish tacos were amazing! The apple cake is a must! Service was wonderful, very friendly and helpful as it was our first time. Our group included small children and they also loved it, Mom these are the best enchiladas of all time! We're going back! I was excited to try a new place that came as a recommendation and it was totally worth it!

This is a great place to have a good old-fashioned Texmex meal and service. I like her beef phajitas and they have excellent enchiladas. My wife likes her chicken Monterey, food is always fresh and it doesn't taste like so many other places processed.

Good solid Tex-Mex. Salsa is mild but chips are fresh and plentiful free. Had cheese enchaladas. Gravy was tasty even though it was without chili meat. Refried beans were loaded with bacon flavor. Rice as fair. Enchaladas were delish!!!
