Chicken Express - Bulverde

Drove 7 hours to eat here. I knew it so much when we told our friends they drove 7.5 hours to try. For the first time they ever had Chicken Express. Enjoyed her company and visited her and our family who lives here. CE saved us all.

The best chicken restaurant. We recommend the Cole Slav, green beans, Mac n cheese and roasted okra sides with 2 pieces dinner. Fantastic food, good service and the 20 minutes drive worth for us!

I didn't show up, but the food was super fresh, tasteful and not disappointed. The chicken was super juicy and crispy and you have to try their fried corn bites!!

With all the craziness of inside closed, the drive up and drive thru was very busy. They seemed to be on the ball and moved the lines through quite quickly. Their tenders deal with 2 sides and biscuits pretty hard to beat. We ordered spicy wish they were a little more but not evey one likes super spicy. Just added more to mine at home. Gravy was okay could use a little more pepper. The poppers very tasty and the Mac and cheese was okay. Lacked a little flavor.

The catfish is soooooo GOOD when it is served hot and is not overcooked. The fried chicken is decent. The sides are decent for fast food. The rolls are sweet ... almost like doughnuts.
