What andrew Mackerel doesn't like about Aamod Indian Cuisine:
Ordered a butter chicken wrap got more like a flavoured rice wrap literally 3 tiny slithers of chicken in the whole thing. And “hot” was more like mild. Definitely won’t be back. View all feedback.
The Indian curry at this restaurant is excellent, especially for the price of the lunch special. The interior is average, but the excellent service more than makes up for it. This is a great spot for a quick and delicious lunch between activities.
I tried out this restaurant for some Indian food in the heart of New Zealand and was pleasantly surprised. The mixed vegetable appetizers were delicious, particularly the fried onion. The chutneys were also delightful, and they even gave us complimentary pappadum.
For those who drive larger vehicles, like my truck and trailer, parking can be a bit challenging to find. However, there is free street parking available. The service was great, and overall I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5. The price per person falls in the range of NZ$20-30.
