Very impressive and very large complex. Went with a group of 20 people and all but one had a great meal, good service (so avoid the roast dinner). Loads of parking. Current road works and resulting congestion in the area make access difficult. Worth going to support them during the freeway construction. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Manningham Club:
It's not entirely fair to evaluate the menu since it was designed for a large function. While the beef and chicken options seemed acceptable, the vegetarian dish fell short. The finger foods were enjoyable. However, the ambient music was too loud during the keynote speech, and the staff needed reminders to turn it off. View all feedback.
We have a large party for dinner with a function room booked after for an event. I understand the issues with staff in hospitality currently. But waiting 40mins for food that is served cold isn't acceptable.
Went last Saturday night and a little disappointed. the meal times were in order, but the customer service was missing. was a regular before covid and after closing it was not quite the same. had been a few times, and that was by far the little fun. No kinder greeting at the arrival, only a “have them a booking” and directly on the table, that is it. let me point out that the waiters were not rude, but they lacked in the interaction with customers as it was in the past. not a waiter who came by during our meal, stopped asking if everything was in order, and when we were gone, there was no one to say goodnight, hope to see you again soon, thanks for come, etc. the place was not even busy. I get a lot of organizations that have personal problems, but happy customers generate positive feedback and reviews for their restaurant. we used to get a free brotrolle or two, but that's stopped and I'm pretty sure that the menu is a little different as well. steak looked like the size had been a bit reduced and the price has risen. it would also be nice if there were more than a piece of sad looking tomaten on the side salat. the tiramisu was more like a kind of chocolate sponge and it lacked the classic taste of a proper tiramisu. and the puppies of mock cream from a dose is not a good supplement. in fairness there are meal times to suit most taste, but it is standard-sub-fees and nothing made me want to give a bright review. maybe they try to see this place again in 6-12 months time, if something has changed.
The most ridiculously incompetent staff in a most drab and archaic club . 1 star is insulting to other 1 star ratings

The love for detail makes the difference. three of us had lunch and ordered the same meal times that had led to a bad result at an earlier occasion, but this time the staff got it right! our lamb roast was fresh, tasty and carved in beautiful thin slices. (last time was hard thick discs). our steak was cooked properly before vs. the fish was good vs crossed before. sweet and salate were good. we will be back soon!
