Cafe Heide - Bulleen (VIC)

The menu had a lot of choices for vegetarian and meat eaters and there were individual meal options or share plates. The food was delicious and the staff, prompt and courteous.

The food is good but we think it’s a bit cold. Perhaps the weather play apart. From the kitchen to our table. The menu is limited. It will be great if there is more variation. We love the cake. The service is excellent.

The cafe and service is great. When it came to the food, it was surprising that what we ordered came served cold. Especially when you promote that the menu is seasonal. It is winter and it is cold, we want warming meals. I ordered cauliflower chickpeas, I did not expect it to come cold. The flavour was good, but it was hard to eat in the cold. My mother had similar experience with the seared tuna. The roast vegetables were served cold. Again, the flavour is good. It is just dissappointing to find it hard to enjoy the food when you're too cold. I hope you take it onboard, I do enjoy the cafe and would come back.

Enjoyed the restaurant. Disappointed to be sitting in outside area as for the more mature it was difficult to hear one another. However the service and food made up for the noise. I am having lunch again this Friday hopefully we will be sitting inside.
