A heaven on a plate! I'm not really a big fan of nasi kaapau, but our driver recommended us to try and surprisingly I love it! Mix the sauce perfectly and well closed with hot tea. The kapau though in the center of kapau market, but it is clean and very comfort

Great experience. must visit one of these stands during a visit to Bukittinggi. Food taste good and price was really reasonable.. his mouthwater only to see all these foods before you while you eat.. it makes you want to try as many different food as your stomach can treat.. As for me, I really love her chicken return and the bamboo sput curry.. The real heaven.. Ask people on the market the direction to this place as these stands are located in the middle of a maze-like market, so it could take a bit of effort to find it or simply by luck. They call the area Los Lambuang (literal translated as stomach alley, since this area is where most of the food vendors are located. So for any food, you can be able to spend a lot of time trying different types of food here, and it is also fun to explore and see what they have to offer.

The real original Nasi Kapau. Really delicious and the taste is very strong. Combined with cool climate, they are the perfect combination for you to gain weight. I'm serious! I tried dendeng batokokok, knusprig baluik goreng and dendeng masiak. Also the simple Sayur nangka taste here best. You taste so good I forgot that I was full. The price is quite affordable. And it's worth it, every Rupiah.

Nasi Kapau Ni Lis Bukittinggi West Sumatra November 2019 Nasi-Kikil for 28 K IDR. The meal is packed with a bit of tambusu (intestines filled with pickled proteins, which a sponge almost tofu like matrix of taste when boiled in the intestine), some delicious cured veg (the cauliflower and jackfruit is really good), and some fried casava pieces are boiled in Rendang spices. The Rendang spices were simply amazing and the crispy kassava pieces adds a really nice crispy texture to the meal. In the meantime, the Kikil is large enough to guarantee the price and is really well cooked that it still retains its structure, although it is really delicate. Then it has a very nice Gulai taste without leaving this excessively fat/rich aftertaste on the palate. This is really a master class of what Rendang spices could be tambusu, veg gulai and kikil. In addition, I had a bit of Mbak @melani_pedro 's Dendeng kering (dry beef jerk) and that must have been the best beef jerk ever. How serious to eat it, I felt like eating something really crispy smoked bacon. I'm probably always going to be pork to beef, but this thing was really something I'm telling you. The chili and the broth are also good, but they do not distract you from the star of the show. The jerk is able to retain its shape, but can be easily cut and crumbled and will not be pointed thorns in your mouth when bit (confide me, I had some of these unpleasant experiences). It is also so well fried that it gives that the above mentioned smokiness without tasting as its dried burned meat. This lady really knows what she does, she should get a Michelin star for this Dendeng. The rice package is therefore 28 K anyway and each additional meat/fish/Whatevs 20 K. Love the food, the dining experience, the environment, the place, like everything about this place is so iconic. I can't stop me from wanting more.
