We shared a warm camembert as a starter, no problem bringing extra plates. Steak was prepared as asked . The suggestions were excellent. Although it was very busy, the sttaf was very friendly. View all feedback.
What Gunnar Kunze doesn't like about Brasserie de l'Etoile:
I went there with my family to take a drink and for the kids to eat a pizza, they told me that just for one pizza they didn't want us to eat on the terrace in the eating area!It wasn't pick time for dining and they didn't want to accommodate us. This was the 2nd time so I left and won't return. Their clients are definitely not something they value. View all feedback.
Good Value for money but the portions are a little but small. In germany we would say „It was something for the empty tooth“
Food ok, place good shaded and friendly and efficient staff. We were disappointed however by the fact that we ordered two formulas faux filet (main course, desert and coffee for and were charged for the coffees and the deserts. The coffees were taken off...the bill but the deserts remained. Only dessert du jour was included. Nobody pointed that out, when ordering. So we were left with paying for two deserts per formula order but only got one. Sad story. Not our usual experience in France.
Visited three times after climbing and via ferrata in the area. We had pizzas and salads. All excellent. Staff were very friendly and recognised us after the visit.
This place gets crowded very quickly so either come in early or book a table! The menu is very varied, ranging for large salads to big pizzas, grilled meat and fish. Despite the variety (including the dessert menu), every dish is fresh and very tasty....Despite the number of tables, the service is very efficient.
I had the burger which was good. Lots of chips! I like this restaurant but the service is quite slow and the server made a weird tune/song when he gave us the food which was unpleasant. I guess he was trying to be funny... I...like the location of the tables, under the big trees and by the fountains.
