Was Anonym at The Virginian a mag?
The dining experience was outstanding. The buffalo rib was simply phenomenal—definitely one of the best I've had. The teriyaki salmon was also delicious, which is a great compliment to the ranchers. The historical atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful. The staff is top-notch; our gracious host helped us secure the reservations we wanted. What Anonym dislikes about The Virginian:
Of course, this is named after author Owen Wister’s novel, The Virginian. We would have loved to have eaten here as it looked so lovely inside and very Old West and charming. It looks like the perfect place for a special occasion. Unfortunately, it was closed. I read some very good reviews that the food was very good. View all feedback.

We went to dinner for the first time and it was delicious! The atmosphere, service, food and drinks were excellent. We're definitely going back.

PHENOMENAL Food, attentive service and an even better place. I will warn everyone that they are prices (and the menu itself) from the date. Most meat cuts are?market price? and prices are not listed. Generally in line with the surrounding competition, but never enjoy a menu without prices. But the Steak Marsala? The best I ever had. Will definitely return to Buffalo on travel.

A magical and unique place in Buffalo! Very good dinner, we ate mashed steak and asparagus, compliments to the chef! Best dinner ever here in America! And then surprise the saloon next door... fantastic live country music and an incredible atmosphere! Highly recommended Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Outstanding food. Portions are medium--you won't leave stuffed or with food on the table, but you won't go hungry either. Everything I ordered was flavorful and perfectly cooked. On top of it, the new owner(since 2019) and servers were absolutely wonderful. I would rate this higher than most restaurants I've been to in Seattle or Denver. Would absolutely recommend to anyone searching for fantastic food at a reasonable price. Service: Dine in
