The Delaware Pub Grill - Buffalo

Delicious food, friendly waiter, reasonable prices. After dinner at the Delaware, I can enthusiastically recommend this place to others looking for a low key, reasonably priced dinner.<br/ <br/ I had the sirloin steak, and my friend had the 'cheesy pig ' (grilled cheese with pulled pork and mac and cheese). The presentation for the sirloin was excellent, and the veggies looked freshly prepared (compared to another restaurant that shall not be named). The cheesy pig was unique in design, but also quite delicious.<br/ <br/ The place was busy, as expected for a Friday night, but our waiter was attentive and the food arrived in a timely manner.<br/ <br/ Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend The Delaware. Bon appetite!

Always Good. I have heard some people say that the food can change from day to day but I have been to this restaurant many, many times and it has always been good. When I go for dinner I always get the risotto that is on special and it is always yummy. My favorite is the bacon and eggs risotto that comes with a fried egg on top and small baguette toasts and jelly on the side. Another favorite of mine is the fried stuffed hot pepper. It is out of this world. My favorite entree would have to be the onion crusted pork chop with the mustand and orange glaze. I can't say enough about this place. Everyone should try it! When my parents come from out of town they always request that we go to the Delaware!

Nothing fancy, but nice.. I liked this place. It's a lot of standard fare that they dress up nicely in presentation and gourmet preparation, without jacking up the prices. My mom got the Hangar Steak and it was one of the best steaks I've had in a long while. I got the tofu dish which was beautiful plated and on the pallate. It's a nice marriage of the familiar and the ellegant without breaking the bank. Drinks were cheap too. Would definetly reccomend and look forward to returning.

Another great night... My lady and I are almost regulars at The Delaware. The staff is really great, the food is always really good and prepared quickly. The wine and beer selection also helps to keep us coming back. If we order a Shiraz, we get a great Shiraz, no gambles or picking, the owner knows wine. They have anywhere from 5-6 decent beers on draught, and of course, bottles for backup. Considering the footprint of this place, that's not too shabby. Whether for food or just drinks, we've never felt rushed. The owner is an honest, to the point, very nice person. After numerous nights of table service, he's asked us back to the bar to chat and have a drink. They're not afraid to serve food right up to the end of dinner service, this is nice because we are active people and can't always make it during normal dinner hours. This place has an inviting atmosphere and will keep you coming back. I used to love this location as Carvel, but like it even better as The Delaware. Before writing this review I didn't have an account and created one just to leave this comment, if that tells you anything. We think this is a great place worth trying. Sam Ps: The prices are reasonable too.
