The Bijou is an ideal place to stop for fabulous cocktails and a bite to eat before seeing a show in the theater district of Buffalo! It's only a two minute walk from Sheas. I've dined here many times in the past few decades. It's so nice to see they are still thriving after all these years in business! I really enjoyed being at their bar this visit waiting for our show to start. The bartender was fun and attentive.... View all feedback.

An underwhelming dining experience. This was a $150 meal. We were the only diners in the restaurant for the first hour.To begin with, our server did not fill or refill our water glasses. Really enjoyed eating here. Nice staff clean and fod was good as well as dessert. Prices were good as well for the portions.

Hot, fresh and not too sweet. My coffee was also very good, though served without a spoon. I needed to leave the table to approach the staff to get one.The service did not meet standards. And in this price category, there is stiff competition in Buffalo, so we will probably not be returning to The Bijou.
I went here for my boyfriend 's 22nd birthday with his family. After we ordered our waitress came back and forgot what 2 of the people in our party ordered and forgot they had a certain pop, then our food came out and she brings me the wrong order (I was not one of the people who 's order she came back to clarify). We then told her that I did not order the steak but I ordered the chicken, she takes away the steak then they bring out the chicken maybe 5 minutes later. I cut into my chicken and it 's RAW, so we sent back my meal again, and by the time my food got out everyone else is just about done eating. All while our waitress is serving us, shes sitting down and talking to the one other table that 's in there or going on her phone and barely paying our party any mind, and keep in mine including our table there were only 2 tables, our party of 6 and her friends ' party of 2. Our waitress never said sorry for anything wrong that happened, and after getting the pink chicken rushed our meal, gave us the bill mid meal, and was constantly staring at us. Safe to say I will never dine here again and will not be recommending this to anyone in the future.
What can I say… one heck of a place!! Got to sit and talk with the owner a bit too. She was wonderful. Her restaurant is wonderful. The servers are wonderful. I will be coming here again. Without a doubt.
Absolutely fantastic food with caring attentive service and beautiful atmosphere. Never forget to order the Stuffed Peppers!
