The Barrel Factory hosted my daughter's wedding and I wish I could go higher than 5 stars!!!!! From owners Steve Andi, Rachel the event manager, Ted the expert mixologist, Cornell (Nelly) the Head Chef, and the entire staff who work tirelessly throughout the evening I would highly recommend this gem in the Old First Ward!!!! The atmosphere, food, drinks and hospitality was simply the best. View all feedback.

we were here on Wednesday before thanksgiving, which I get is a hard day for restaurants, but we had family in the city. we were a big party and despite an almost empty restaurant we were sitting right next to another big party. eating has always arrived, our orders are taken forever, our drinks have never been offered after their hours journey to the table it seemed like 4 house managers who have not helped while a... Visited here for the first time. Tried the fish fry. Would have to rate it average if that. My wife had the same. Once again average. The couple that was with us thought their meal was good. Not great. Tried summer of their home made beer. It was good. Been to several distilleries in Buffalo and this was just average. Service was filled with several mistakes on the order. They apologized and bought us a round on the house so that was good. Venue was great. Able to sit outside or inside.
Went for a bridal shower in the event center, which is on the 2nd floor. They have an elevator to use. Bathrooms were clean and roomy. The food was delicious! This place would be very cute for a wedding or even prom. Parking is as good as can be. Not in an uncomfortable. Neighborhood. I would like to go back to have dinner and enjoy the restaurant part.
Very cool bar. We went on St. Patrick's day. Live music on the top floor was great. Bartenders were fast and good. Drinks were good and reasonably priced.
It was SO good. I got the seared salmon with roasted veggies and rice. One of the best meals I’ve had from a restaurant in a very long time. We also had the apple pie barrel roll which came with vanilla bean ice cream; amazing. Will definitely be going back!
What. An. Amazing. Night. This was our pick for our weekly date night, and we could not have been more impressed, or had a nicer time out. Both of us expected a rustic themed, enjoyable evening but neither of us expected to have one of the best meals we’ve had in ages. This was our first time here, and it certainly won’t be our last. The atmosphere is inviting and warm, and the charm of the industrial factory mixed with hidden side street gem hit you to your core. We dined here in February and we’re lucky enough to enjoy their “Valentines” menu which runs all February long. Probably the best deal you’ll see all year we got bread and butter, 2x drinks (cocktails, specialty cocktails, beer or wine), 2x soup or salad, 2x filet (or chicken, salmon, lasagna), and 2x dessert (chocolate cake, creme brûlée, apple egg rolls, or another chocolate dish) all for $75!! I couldn’t believe it, and we had to ask the server twice to make sure we were dreaming. Our food was first class start to finish. The salads were decorative, light and refreshing but still quite filling. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, and had a great grill char to them which paired perfect with the spice blend- don’t get me started on the demiglaze which I happily would have drown in. Dessert was sweet and tasty, and we ate every last crumb. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and we were even lucky enough to dine there on a night the restaurant was filming footage for their website so we got to see the behind the scenes drone flying around the dining room, and got to meet the owner(s) as well. Run, don’t walk here on your next date night, you won’t regret it.
