We were dining with other family members who were celebrating a birthd... read more My daughter and I went for lunch at this restaurant. The fish had a strong ammonia smell. We were dining with other family members who were celebrating a birthday, so we didn't want to spoil the occasion. I won't be returning to eat there. Additionally, the restaurant was not very busy, yet it took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive (we were a party of 7).

They still managed to seat me and my guests d... read more The staff was extremely welcoming, especially considering that my OpenTable reservation somehow didn't go through. They still managed to seat me and my guests during a busy Mother's Day crowd. Our waitress was very attentive, even with the restaurant being full for Mother's Day brunch. The variety of food options was impressive. Overall, a fantastic place to dine.

They seated me and my guests anyway even with a large Mother's Day crowd. Our waitress was very attentive in spite of the fact that there were so many people there for Mother's Day brunch. Between those years I've eaten at... read more The Protocol is a long established restaurant in central Erie County. I was a young man when I first ate there and I"m 66 now. Between those years I've eaten at The Protocol many time and the food is consistently good. In fact it is excellent. That is what I and my extended family like about it. Good quality, freshly made food. The Protocol is a place you can come to have a good time or a quiet conversation. And the staff is top notch. They are very professional and personable. The Protocol has become the location of our Christmas get-together with my cousins from North Carolina. We all know that you can't go wrong eating at The Protocol. May it be around for many years to come.

The food was excellent and the staff treated us with respect, seating us promptly at the bar for appetizers. The service was fantastic and I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely return. The owner was present and very accommodating. The flourless chocolate cake was absolutely delicious.

We started with a few drinks and tried the delicious oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer. For our main courses, I enjoyed the jumbo sea scallops with risotto and vegetables, while my fiancé was impressed with the portion size of the half pasta dish he ordered. Both of us were satisfied with our meals. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.

I always have a great meal, but this was by far the best! The service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and timing of everything was perfect, as always. Unlike most restaurants where the food is bland, everything here was full of flavor! I ordered the blackened cajun salmon (all seafood is delivered fresh daily), red roasted potatoes, seasoned vegetables, salad, and fresh bread. Our server was attentive and friendly. The owner, Paul, came over to introduce himself and ensure we enjoyed our meal. He is a very nice and down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his restaurant and your experience. I am looking forward to going back soon!

I couldn 't have asked for a better experience for my daughter 's bridal shower. The brunch was amazing. The Chicken a la King was delicious and many went up for seconds. The waffle station was worth every penny, they were light and tasty! The room was beautiful, the staff was attentive and friendly. The room was set up exactly as we asked and the design for the 'beverage table ' was unexpectedly delightful. Our guests truly enjoyed it as well. Thanks Paul and Carol!
