What Debbie doesn't like about Mandy's Cafe:
Went for a florentine style fish, it had a very weird taste asked the waitress what seasoning was on it, she said Italian and lemon. I could not eat it because of the terrible taste, waitress asked if I wanted to take it home, I said no because I just couldn’t eat it. One of those local gems here in Buffalo. Best Ruben sandwich anywhere in the country! The rest of the menu is excellent too and priced for everyone to enjoy!

Clean, worn but cared for. CASH ONLY, atm on site.Highlight- consistent high quality simple food with a rotating special menu at more than fair pricing, easily have a drink, and meal for $20-25 with a tip.Bar is cozy, restaurant roomy on the simple side. Parking: In front, and to the left of building NOT TO THE RIGHT, that is private parking for the business next door and may be ticketed or towed.
Where has this hidden gem been all my life living in this area??? My Godmother and her family go there, and she selected it for our Christmas night out. AMAZING!!!! Checked all the boxes: clean, great service (Karen), super prices, and fabulous food. The hottest mashed potatoes I have ever eaten! Had to wait for them to cool off!! Had the fried provolone yuum!!! and hard to find (good) liver and onions. And $9 cosmos! I wish I lived next door! Can't wait to go back with hubby.
