I love this place. Wonderful catering and fantastic take out. Just the right thing to drop off to a friend that is sick at home or a special holiday gift. Everything is Buffalo Made!!! the chicken or turkey pot pie is 5 gold stars!!! Liz is a wonderful community activist. She cares about the city and it shows in everything she does. View all feedback.
What Martin W doesn't like about Mama Rosa's Quaker Bonnet:
Please update page. Visited twice during hours posted and no one at counter. Got a hold of the baker in the back and they no longer sell goods out of store, wholesale only. Smelled great though View all feedback.
I love Buffalo Chips but quaker bonnet failed to deliver an online order I paid for almost a year ago and they never responded to my emails or phone calls. Like others have said, I'm leaving this review up until they contact me regarding my order. I think a year is plenty of time.
Beware of online ordering. My order was never sent and no one ever responded to repeated emails and phone calls. It's been a year now. This review will remain until they make good on my order.
Please update the page. I visited twice during the listed hours, but there was no one at the counter. I managed to speak with the baker in the back, and they informed me that they no longer sell goods from the store, only wholesale. However, it did smell wonderful inside!
Delicious homemade food! I highly recommend this place to everyone.
This restaurant is under new ownership, so you can ignore previous reviews about the former owner. The new owner is a truly kind-hearted nuclear engineer. One of the most exciting changes is the addition of a variety of vegan options. Currently, most vegan items need to be ordered ahead of time. I visited the shop, and it has a straightforward setup with a counter, shelves, and commercial freezers in front, while the bakery operations take place in the back. They have a selection of dressings, sauces, spice blends, cookies, bread, and frozen soups available. The bread selection was limited and not particularly fresh, likely due to their focus on wholesale and advance orders. They offer vegan Thanksgiving dinners for 1 or 20, and they will have the same for Christmas. There are numerous vegan breads and pies, including guava pie. They are also in the process of adapting their classic dishes, like Buffalo Chips, to be vegan-friendly. Keep an eye on this place; it's sure to improve even more!
