Falafel - Buffalo

We had dinner with our daughter, her husband, and their two young teen children. Everyone was delighted with their food. We took home leftovers. Parking: There was plenty of parking in front of the restaurant.

Was in town for the eclipse and decided to order online. When I placed the order I selected time:asap. So at 5:40 I decided to head to the restaurant and wait to pick up, no pick up time was on the receipt though which was odd. After asking for the order I find out they have no idea what what I was talking about.The order never went through on their end even though I was charged. I showed the email to them and they spent the next 5 minutes trying to figure out what to do next. Cook comes out and tells me to specify a time next time because the system put the order at 7pm pickup.No plastic ware with the order to eat anything, the lamb for the shawarma was dry with no sauce, brown rice was probably cooked with too much water as it was quite mushy and I 'm not sure when we will even be in New York again to worry about next time .

This is one of my favorite places to dine with my daughter. We always get the Brik as our appetizer. It's a delicious North African potato pastry topped with a fresh avacado salsa. We literally smile every time we get it! We just order one and split it. My go-to menu item is the Souvlaki Wrap with Chicken. It's perfect. I have also enjoyed the Shawarma Wrap. More recently, I tried the Grilled Romaine Salad with Avocado, Pine Nuts, Goat Cheese Lemon Vinaigrette. Another winner. It was a lot of salad for one person, though, so we decided that we would split it next time and then order the appetizers that we've had our eyes on but haven't tried yet. For dessert, we like to order the Baklava to go. It is excellent. And honey, please do get yourself a slice of the Baklava Cheesecake!! It is a slice of heavenly goodness.

The shawarma was good but it felt like it was a little too soggy. The lettuce and cucumbers were like wet. I did takeout but came to pick it up right at the time they said it’s ready so it wasn’t sitting out for too long. Fries were crispy though!

Food is always delicious! Service is consistent, super friendly and welcoming... Couldn’t ask for more!
