This place needs to improve service significantly. Because food is great, but we were waiting for our food for more than an hour. Server brought us pitcher of water, but no glasses. No bread either. And she was treating us like a strict school teacher, no smile and rushing to order. It seemed to us like we were annoying to her. Pork shnitzel and chicken cutlets were our entrees, i have eaten about a quarter of the cutlet very bland and overcooked, no seasoning. Pork shnitzel was dry and too crisp, not flavorful either. Drinks vodka martini was only vodka i think, the cheap quality that smells. Sorry but its bad. They need to invest in a good cook and barmen otherwise i think its going to go downhill fast View all feedback.
I am planning to visit this restaurant and wanted to show my support for a Russian establishment in light of the discrimination they are facing from Ukrainian reviewers who have not even been to the restaurants. I hope to visit soon and taste your food. I am sorry you have to deal with this negativity, but know that they are only revealing their true colors. Best wishes and Happy Holidays!

It was a delightful home like, very warm atmosphere in the place for a wedding. The staff was very attentive, professional and efficient. Great food, beautiful, colorful, contemporary and elegant presentation of every dish.The table looked like a colorful tapestry! Best Russian restaurant in Chicago!
