Casey's
Description
Once-beloved local convenience-store pizzeria serves hot, tasty pizzas and breadsticks with occasionally generous extras and genuinely friendly staff. Yet reliability is a recurring problem: automated ordering and posted hours have failed patrons, phones often go unanswered, and chronic understaffing or single-employee shifts cause long waits, missed orders and operational frustration. Menu shortages and uneven management undercut otherwise good food — regulars enjoy the product but urge improvements to staffing, hours and order systems.

I frequently order food online, and they often call to let me know my order will be ready sooner than expected. Occasionally, they pick up my orders for me. The staff here are genuinely great people.
I placed an order through the automated system and was told it would be ready at 5:27. When I arrived, there were people waiting in line for 15 minutes. I had to finally push my way to the counter where the woman working didn't even know I had ordered. She informed me that she was the only one working and had other orders to fill, including mine which hadn't even been started. It made me wonder how the automated system could accurately predict when the pizza would be ready if it didn't consider the backup in the kitchen. I'm not blaming the pizza maker, but at least when speaking to a real person they could provide an estimated time.
