What sopromondo doesn't like about Fortinos Burlington Plains:
5 star for food, 3 for experience. Stopped in to get some ready made hot food. Food was great but 2 young guys working the counter didn't seem too friendly as they didn't even speak one word to me. However they spoke to each other. They just looked at me which I guess was my queue to order. Might as well have had a robot serving me. Great process, fresh beef, fish and vegetables, clean, friendly, sells clothes
I came to purchase a bday cake. I decided to grab a few extra items which took up my left arm, so I was holding the cake with my right hand. I tried to scan the cake but couldn’t as the barcode was on the bottom. Instead of asking me if I needed help, the lady guarding the self checkout comes over and accuses me of trying to steal a cake! Seriously? As I’m fumbling around trying to get the barcode to a visible place to the scanner. This was at 1:45 on Wednesday. Secondary, purchased a “Red Velvet” labeled cake.which was actually just chocolate cake with Red Velvet decorations. Very disappointing.
The pizza is amazing! The sushi was fresh. The soup was good and hot. Good place for a quick family lunch after shopping.

I have always have the best experience with their meats and fish. Store is neat and organize, friendly and above all very clean.
