Went to the the nearest Chinese restaurant Royal China which was near my hotel in Puerto Madero. Satisfied my craving with a soup, steamed fish, stir-fried lettuce and sweet & sour pork. Not cheap but very authentic and tasty enough for me. It is certainly not fusion but selective dishes may suit a western palate better, just ask the waitress. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Royal China:
Es un lugar pésimo para mi gusto. Sucio, desordenado, no entregan la cuenta porque no trabajan con tarjeta de crédito y "no les funcionaba la máquina para entregar factura". Son para mí obvios los motivos. Tuve la sensación de que están por cerrar sus puertas en cualquier momento. View all feedback.

I made a terrible mistake of following the advice of the concierge at a top local hotel. Upon arrival and while waiting to be seated, I witnessed an altercation between the staff and what I can only assume to have been a customer. As I started to step back towards the door the hostess reached out to me and I chose to sit for dinner. Big mistake, BIG! For starters, they do not speak a word of English. That's fine but what is not fine is that the room was quickly filled with cigarette smoke! I dealt with it. I also dealt with being served basic Chinese food, nothing to write home about. That's fine too. I also dealt with them not letting me know that the portions were enough for an entire family. I was dining alone. It was also fine that their wifi was not working and I had to later wait in the rain to hail a taxi instead of calling my car service. The taxi i hailed ended up costing me 4.5 times the price my car service cost to get to the restaurant from my hotel. That's fine too because you see I'm a very reasonable customer. What is not acceptable is that when it came to pay, the manager first barked at me for interrupting her by darling to ask for my bill. She then scribbled a random number on a piece of paper. After politely asking her to clarify, she became more annoyed and came up with a bill that was two times the price of my luxurious and splendid meal at the top hotel in town on Posadas Ave! Really?! That's not the end of it, as I handed her my credit card she again barked at me "NO CARD" and went back to doing whatever she was doing before I dared to ask for the bill. REALLY?! Luckily I had US$ on me and I was able to put that behind me. I now will have a talk with both the concierge at my hotel, the management and I am likely to check out of my hotel first thing in the morning and move to the competition. My concierge should never have sent me to this place to begin with.
I liked Royal China. Everything has been great about it. Loved it. Service is fast and professional. Hey the food is simply delicious!

TYhe polace is beautiful, overlooking the river and that side of the city. Howevr, chine food is not supposed to be "California Fusion Chinese". There are NINE distinct and very differet styles of Chinese (AUTHENTIC) cooking.FUJIAN, ANHUI, SHANDONG, JIANGSU, GUANDONG, BEIJING, HUNAN, SICHUAN. If you have an opportunity, try them all! I prefer Sichan, as it is spicier than the others, and more suited to my taste. However I love them all! If you have a chance to have really authentic Chinese food in an authntic Chinese restaurant, don't miss it. If you have the opportunity try them all!
