Nunca me defraudo. What User doesn't like about Nonna Bianca:
This ice shop was very popular. The price was not expensive. However, the texture of the ice was too soft and too quickly melted. We did not like Sambayon taste or chocolate taste, but the dulce de leche taste was good. View all feedback.
No wonder Argentina has the best reputation for ice creams! AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS FLAVOURS incl. Mate& gin! Really good quality. I found it to be much more unique than the chain type parlour 'Iceland ' on the main square Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo. Expect long queues though twice! First you have to pay, get a ticket, then go queue up again to pick the flavours. Well worth the wait!
We stopped here for a late night ice cream and cappuccino, although the portions of ice cream and cappuccino were small they were tasty.

Once we find out how the system works first, you get a ticket and then you can order we have been introduced into a wonderful world of flavors. There were 4 types of Dulce de leche alone. After several visits we had tried 12 varieties and all were delicious.
Considering the location, which is between two extremely busy streets (Defensa and Bolivar , this little pocket of San Telmo feels like a block long oasis. I think I even spotted some trees. : The best part of this place at least in terms of gelato is that they do it the real way. Perhaps you have seen the gelato shops with the goods displayed behind a glass counter, all colorful and swirly? Pretty, no? Well, this means the gelato has preservatives (no matter what they tell you in order to keep it from changing color (the oxidation process . On the contrary, you will notice that the gelato in this place is kept out of sight, and completely covered. This means it's the real deal, folks. The taste? Not mind bending, but still well done. Great selection, and a decent value, too. Order the 1/4 kilo (60ARS which gets you three flavors. It's plenty. Nice staff and very nice interior.
