La Pergola de San Telmo - Buenos Aires

You are enjoying a lovely sunny day walking trought the streets of San Telmo. Then you find a lovely place and we want to enjoy a lunch. The food was serves after more than one hour seated there, when the food comes it was cold and at the end the price was amazing.

Adentro no me gustó, fuimos una tarde en búsqueda de algo fresco una cerveza y un cortado. La cerveza no tan helada. Nos sentamos en la vereda, bajo una suave brisa. y pedimos la carta, la cual era básica, la cerveza vino sin papitas ni manies. La verdad que nos queríamos levantar ya, pero solo la ubicación al frente de la plaza, le levanta el aplazo. Todo el resto básico. No volvería. Adjunto fotos. ¿te fue útil ?

This is a really old restaurant has a great old Buenos Aires style. The food I was ok . They also have free Tango shows..the schedule is posted on a board in front.

We were jet lagged. We couldn't check into the hotel. This was the closest restaurant. I didn't like the Empanada de carne (25 pesos) or the pizza (190 pesos). This was a mistake.

It's a terrible tourist trap, the food was uneatable, the service really poor and everything from dishes to cloth napkins of poor hygienic standards... do yourself a favor and don't waste your money there, you'll regret it.
