We went to lunch with co-workers, it was quite late for a lunch but they treated us very cordially. We ordered some chivites and it was a pleasant surprise how abundant and good they were. I remembered Uruguay. the price was more than reasonable. We're going back. View all feedback.

good meats, especially those cooked at the moment. to recommend chorizo bife. rich soups. normal attention. moderate prices. excellent hairdresser to go with children and be able to have time to eat quietly. There is a need to improve hygiene, painting and maintenance details in general. To pass to tables that are close to the hairdresser, you pass through several stairs, near the bathroom and a type of deposit that... View all feedback.
If you are looking for a typical restaurant where the locals go if you want to have good meat, La Gran Hollywood is one of the places you need to go. You, if you are looking for excellent service, probably you will be disappointed, price are exactly
This is a place only locals will go. The staff is very friendly, the service is very fast, given the orders. The eggplant salad is licking fingers. I'll be back before I leave Buenos Aires. We ordered: 2 (beef) chorizos, 1 provoleta, 1 bife mariposa, papas fritas rejilla a la Provenzal, 1,5 l cola for three persons.
I am slightly reluctant to post this review some things are too good to share! This was our second visit to La Gran Hollywood having last been in Buenos Aires in December. On that occasion we happened on this place by chance one evening when looking for an honest, no frills, Argentine parilla. That is exactly what this place is. There is nothing fancy about the place but the steaks are incredible, the food reasonably priced and the service excellent. It clearly does a great trade with the local community both; eat in and take away delivery which is always a good sign. Often on a second visit to a restaurant I have been disappointed. But not this time. Our butterfly bife de chorizo was cooked a punto to perfection and melted in the mouth. The accompanying salad was simple and yet incredibly fresh and tasty and the glass of house red complimented the meal perfectly. We didn 't have the fries this time not because they aren 't superb but simply because they come piled high on a tray and we have been indulging a little too much of late! If you 're looking for good honest Argentine food look no further but please don 't tell everyone!
I had the bife de lomo. The meat quality was great and it was cooked to perfection. They have large portions for a really fair price, especially compared to the other restaurants nearby. The decor is not as fancy as other Palermo establishments but the food and service were great! I will definitely go there again.
300 feet from our hotel. We went early and Ricardo was our waiter. He had excellent recommendations. We had grilled provolone and grilled red peppers for apps. Came with small bowls of garlic, roast eggplant, and delicious bread. Main course was a shared butterflied steak cooked rare to medium rare as we asked. It was more than enough for two of us. Additional bowls of tomato/onion in vinegar and semi hot chili sauce. Delicious! Also had waffle fries which were ok. Great male recommended by Ricardo. Dinner plus nice tip for Ricardo about 750 pesos. Excellent value. Recommend you go early for attentive service. We went about 5:00 pm.
