Our AirBnb host recommended this spot to us, and she did not let us down! You have to ring a bell to get in as they keep the door locked (very confusing), but once inside it has a homey, warm atmosphere. They boast that their empanadas are the best, and they were certainly the best I had in BA! (Note: tons of vegetarian empanada choices too!). What User doesn't like about La Aguada:
Staff was friendly, but service was pretty weak (and it was not busy). Ordered the Wok dish with beef, but some of the beef pieces were tasting a little old not rotten, but definitely not fresh. I was happy to see specially marked items on the menu for gluten free, but I don’t think they realize that normal soy sauce is made with wheat, and unfortunately I had a mild reaction after the fact. Straight from the plane after a long flight, found me wandering in a daze and hungry. the chic touched and I found the perfect place to relax, to recharge with empanadas and sprinkles. Oh buy them to the place. it is a beautiful local art of place...with friendly staff and an eclectic art on the walls.
Home made, authentic aromen, nice personal. there is a large selection of local dishes, with love prepared the place is well decorated
We loved this place that has great eating and friendly server in an eclectic environment. it is great for vegetarian and there are also some vegan options!
We went hre and had a great time with friends from argentina and from canada, delicious food and other things to choose
Great little place with really delicious food. Staff know English and are really nice. I fully recommend.
