Cuando voy a Buenos Aires, casi siempre voy a Il Gatto por varias razones. La principal es que me gustan las pastas que preparan, y además por la atención, la ambientación y su ubicación.Pero esta vez salí muy satisfecho porque comí un plato muy bien preparado de spaghetti con frutos de mar. Esta tradicional trattoria, de concurrencia habitual a la salida del teatro, ya la conocíamos. No tenía un muy buen recuerdo pero decidimos repetir dado que la zona estaba muy concurrida y no había demasiados lugares disponibles. En esta oportunidad la comida pareció razonable, aunque ocurrió algo poco habitual, cerveza sin la temperatura adecuada. Solo la excelente predisposición del camarero compenso el inconvenien... Nice place to visit, I love the ambiance of the place, good food, not too expensive, I was really well attended every time i had visited them... I really love this place...

I regularly come to Buenos Aires and make it a point to visit this restaurant every time. But this time when I asked for a table, the hostess asked me a long question in Spanish, which I did not understand. She then asked me in English. I answered: No, I want dinner and a glass of wine. The Maitre d' was obviously unmoved and hostile. He spoke to the hostess in Spanish, who then turned to me and said: We are no longer serving wine. I went right away because it was obvious they didn't want to serve me. I was dressed, not drunk, it makes no sense. I was shocked and apalled. Something like that has never happened to me. For recording, this place has a good location and delicious food, although it's all microwaves, the prices average about three times comparable places in Buenos Aires and if it's not too busy, they will ignore you for as long as possible.
Had dinner Christmas Eve night which is what they do in Argentina,the food was very slow to come to the table. The entree was not hot ,was not tasty,and was not worth the price. I could say I will not go back to Getto but I will probably not go back to Argentina. I am writing this to warn others in Argentina.
