We booked 2 weeks before for the Winter Garden and enjoy the tea service and it is a HERMOSA experience. You sit inside a period movie inside the palace, the service is 10, all punctual and correct, very 5 Star hotel. What they serve is delicious, right, you're going to be full and if you have anything left, you can ask to take. It is ideal for a date, an anniversary, a special celebration, of 2 is beautiful, I also saw tables with groups of 4 and 5 having a great time. Inside the living room have live music with a spectacular Pianist who plays beautiful and listens to the Garden. If you want a precious moment. They're gonna love this experience. We last 2 hours in total. 5 to 7 pm. We went on a Sunday and on leaving we walked through the fair in Plaza France.
Totally recommended to go to the snack of the winter garden, is a great opportunity to taste new flavors. In the picture one would think it's not a lot of food but all the bites make you happy. Then come the desserts, you can order to carry if you like. Attention is very personalized and have good disposition. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. It is advisable to book with a day of anticipation.
It's a special place, super elegant. I went to lunch Buffet. It's cold dishes. Very rich, drink without alcohol, dessert and coffee. All inclusive.
A place that goes back to another Buenos Aires, to another Argentina when we wanted to dispute just like Paris, London or New York. An amazing hotel, a spectacular winter garden, a 5-star service. Spectacular vanilla. We took the famous Afternoon Tea of L’Orangerie which is really great. Everything is delicate, everything is rich. It's super abundant. Really a 100% recommended experience. Prices are on the Alvear website.
All 10, more than 10. We went with my husband and son on the winter holidays. They offered an activity (paga) in which the boys decorated cookies and muffins and put them apron and hat. After the activity they brought to the table what they had done and could take their food. Meanwhile, the adults had tea in a contiguous lounge. I'm gluten intolerant so I requested special menu. I really had nothing to envy my husband because they did everything they could to replicate the 'normal' version. Impeccable presentation, tastes, textures. All EXCEPT! The attention of the staff also very remarkable and the atmosphere, the music gave their special touch. Very abundant tea. Then you could choose a portion of cake (I had only 2 options there, my husband some more but equal the indescribable quality). What you didn't eat could ask for. A separate point to mention is the blend tea of the house is amazing. We're more of the Earl Grey but we wanted to try it and it was the one we liked the most. Please don't stop trying. According to what the person who attended us told us is of the Tealosophy brand that is of the genia of Inés Bertón (I did not know that she was engaged in that too, I had it for drinks). It is a special blend that makes for the Alvear that is not marketed anywhere. We'll be back sometime. It's to repeat on some special occasion.
