We went with prior reservation. We arrived and the owners tell us that the day before they personally attended us to take the reservation. But when we got up our table, it wasn't there, and we had to make several moves to solve the issue, achieving an unplanned and uncomfortable location. We went to dinner with another friendly couple, we charm! super comfortable to talk and share! the dishes are abundant ... and all exquisite!
The food was good, but nothing very different. the price is joto and the place is very clean and tidy. It's worth visiting.
It is important to clarify that the menus change below and above, we went upstairs because I looked at the reviews here that said that the food below was more "at a step" and they did not warn you. I checked it when I called to book and they didn't ask me where I wanted or cleared the difference. They should start doing it.Having said that, the bathroom is down and I went with my grandmother, which was quite uncomfortable that I have to go up and down. If you offered the same menu on both floors it wouldn't be a problem, but it's not the case. in my opinion that lowers points. As for the food, everything we asked for was excellent. We order a fish and chips, a crab cake and a fish with vegetables. all very rich. The only thing that didn't get us was dessert, which was a brulé creme, but it's a matter of taste. I recommend only if you do not go with an older person (on the subject of stairs)
It was a long time since I wasn't so happy about a restaurant. I wanted to meet chipper for a while and yesterday I finally went for the seafood cricket, I think that no one has to leave without trying it, really a wonder, a very good serving for 2 people (perhaps a little more salad would have been fine)The garlic bread fantastico, and the gin tonic of the house are magnificent, all very well prepared, in their time joto and the staff very friendly.
