We live 7 days in Buenos Aires and our hotel is located in the Recoleta district. Josephina's Cafe found in one of our walks and several dinners and lunches here. The menu had many options and the food was delicious. The presentation of the food when they arrived was excellent. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Special mention of Roxanne, who is really an extraordinary employee. Very recommended café in the Recoleta area.
Beautiful large terrace that seems busy all day. Good breakfast, very chilled drinks in the late afternoon. A beautiful meeting place with charming attentive staff and decent value good food.
Outdoor dining restrictions in September 2020 require all venues that offer food to comply with strict protocols. Printed menus are no longer available and the menu is now bar-scanned and read on the web browser of your mobile phone. When Friday night the tables were all occupied and the service was unmarried. The beverage and food order was taken over by a friendly waiter. The ordered food was delivered after some time; well prepared and presented. Overall a pleasant culinary experience.
Loved this place in Recoleta neighborhood for its customers on Sunday morning. Couples of seniors or older ladies who meet their friends at the same age, this is really sweet to watch. In terms of food we had a ribbed eye and grilled octopus with grilled vegetables it was very good. While I looked around, I also had the opportunity to check what others order and how it is presented and I had a desire to bite every dish I saw past. For me, the best indicator for quality is the presence/loss of locals. And this restaurant is usually visited by them.
Came with the family on Sunday. Excellent service, very good food at affordable prices and the homemade pastries are out of this world. Located in the neighborhood of Recoleta (with its Parisian flair) this place is a throwback to the old Buenos Aires cafes. The menu is not that big, but you won’t go wrong with anything you order. Highly recommended if you are in a hurry or you want to grab something light for breakfast and/or lunch.
