A casual but still quite elevated type of space. A lot of change in the menu. The paste is particularly excellent. Her ravioli is down the hands I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe de la Ciudad:
friendly service, many tables in little space, normal kitchen. nothing surprising except prices, too high for a place that has nothing to rescue except location. View all feedback.

Very good Empanados, great options of sanduiches and coffee. Good service. I recome this cafe restaurant.
After a morning visit to the Plaza de Mayo we went to the Obelisk to get an uninterrupted photo. In this phase we needed an energy boost and venture into this café. Prompt Service, various cakes displayed for our selection. On Americano coffee plus apple cake and lemon slice. Large served beside chilled water and hearty bites as a bonus. Nice coffee, I usually add milk, but I would be a conversion to black if all coffee was as pleasant and tasty as these serve. Delicious apple cake. Similar feelings from my wife. An excellent sightseeing interest.
This is a popular tourist restaurant, overlooking the sight of Buenos Aires, the Obelisco and a kind of crossroad café, from where you can visit the world, but on the sidewalk table the risk of smuggling is great, just because it is visited by foreigners. The food is average, service at times slow, and toilets are only on the top floor. Premises are large, two-storey high.
We stopped here late one night after walking for what seemed like forever around the centre. Really fast and efficient service albeit without a smile. We didn't order any food but lots of other people seemed to be enjoying the pizzas! A great spot to just sit and watch the world go by
