What User doesn't like about Biblos Resto & Coffee:
Before entering the restaurant, I looked at the menu to check the prices, when I sat down, I noticed a considerable difference in the amount of a pizza I was willing to ask in the menu that introduced me. I came out there again, I confirmed, I took a photo to confirm. When he questioned that the waiter treated me with rudeness and sincem, claiming that the price was out, was wrong. We regularly buy croissants. Today I went with a Mexican friend. We ordered alfajores de maicena. When I asked about his price, it was $40 pesos (0’20. When the manager heard my friends Mexican accent, he ordered the salesman to charge me 100 pesos. You lost a regular customer.
We were there for dinner. We liked the mood of the place and the food wasn't bad. They serve big portions, so hungry. We didn't like the service very much. I don't think I'd go back there.
This corner restaurant carries the friendly feeling of a place where locals gather after work for a snack, a beer or to share a bottle of wine. Tasty burguers.
We visited Biblos in our first night at BA as it was close to our hotel. We have the mixed Parrila plate that is more than enough for 3 people. One of the waiters speaks Portuguese, which facilitated our experience (also that we could speak Spanish).
We've been past this place for over a week. It's a good dining room, all male waiting staff. Lunch and dinner menus have a lot of variety. Vern ordered the Carrera Cheddar Burger and enjoyed it with the side of the frits. He also ordered a four-part salad, the balm was thick and rich. I ordered the Biblos sandwich. It is smoked salmon, chives, cream cheese, avocado, arugala on a flat bread. I guess my smoked salmon taste is more focused on the sushi side. That was very salty and I suppose that would be called Lox. The pieces were thick and hard. I wasn't thrilled.
