the meals, the attention of the waiters and the environment are very good. It is advisable to make a reservation because we observe that many people arrived unreservedly and did not get a place. View all feedback.
What Ümran Korol doesn't like about Bar du Marche:
Superb sashimi, sushi and other Japanese specialties. Among the best I had anywhere in the world. However, the service was somewhat mixed. It started very well, then the servers could not be loaded, although restaurant was less than a third full. Baffling! I forgot order. After all, they had to register to pay bill. I canceled the visit. View all feedback.
We looked for a restaurant close to our Hotel and the Bar du Marche was perfect. I look always to starters and was amazed fantastic ceviche and salmon tartare. Of course, the cazuela marisco was very good as well.

I went on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at night and they didn't want to attend to me because I didn't think to have a full dinner. It turns out they only serve wines and tastings from 17 to 20hs!!!When telling them that in crew-advisor that wasn't explicit they told me that as it was a day of little sale they agreed to attend me for the only time. They have about 30 types of wines in cups and 40 other labels x bottle (that's all the cava). There are two optional meno -2 or 3 steps- $400 and 455 wine/cafe/propina approx $1,600 a couple. although they had in sight, they did not want to serve any appetizer. regrettable! the maquinita counts tickets was not in sight.
In it subsoil of bar du marche, almost hidden for those who do not ask are a squad 8 tables to taste what I consider is the best sushi of good Buenos Aires.Let's take the tasting of all the options of the day that consists of sashimi, tiraditos, rolls, special options such as the roll of Peruvian cause and the temaki de vieiras. I recommend micho the tilapia strip with panca pepper and the roll of lagostinos with fruit and rice paper. all dishes are refined, very elaborate, with the jota season, an explosion of flavor and colors that make any visit to omkase a great, great, gastronomic experience.
We came for the choice of wines through the glass, and as before dinner menu, chose 2 cheeses and confitado tomatoes. The service was absolutely terrible, the guy who served us had a really bad attitude and was almost rude. We received only half of our order and the cheese portions are ridiculously small!! I know they're being imported, but two tiny slices of Camembert for 120 pesos are crazy. When we asked about the bill, they would still be charged to us because of the things they did not bring us and also for 3 servings of cheese, instead of 2. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend based on the price and the service received. There are much better and more beautiful wine bars nearby that are really happy to have your service.
