Grace Automotive Towing - Buena Vista

Used to love this place! But the owners retired, sold it and new owners took it over. We have gone twice now and won't return. Understand the price increase but you get much smaller portions now. First time quality was poor. Everything overcooked and salty. We didn't complain figured they were just opening. Waited a couple months and went back last night. Ordered a cheesesteak. We all wondered where the beef was, hardly any on there. But the worse thing is, they must have toasted it the bread looked burned and was hard as a rock! We couldn't even crack it with a fork. Complained to the waitress, she did nothing. Brought us wrong drinks. Very inattentive. When we went to pay, the owners were at the register. Never asked if everything was ok. I told them the sub was hard as a rock and the LAUGHED at me! Never again!

New owners have updated the atmosphere in the restaurant, much brighter, new booths, bathrooms modernized. However, we went to dinner there recently and were quite disappointed. No one greeted us as we entered the restaurant, so we took a seat ourselves. Service was mediocre. Did not stop by to ask if we needed anything. Even had to go to the counter to get our check. Menu was new and deleted many of the items that were available before. No specials. Calzones are much smaller. Chicken Parm was okay, but sauce on the side of spaghetti was not very good. Sauce is no where close to tasting Italian. Bread was chewy and not much taste. Website has not been updated, menu is incorrect. Too bad as Buena Vista needed another good restaurant. As I read the Trip Advisor reviews from the Originial Italian restaurant that closed in December with five stars and rave reviews, I hope someone new to the area does not think that this reopening has made the same quality food.

Not impressed at all!!! I was told they don’t put on used parts and was advised to spend $399 in new parts. Took them forever to get my vehicle and once they had it, it took them over three -four weeks just to look at it. I had to call them constantly to get the bare minimum info and at the end of it all, they told me they couldn’t work on it!! Worst experience I’ve ever had with any mechanic anywhere I’ve lived!!!!????????

Outstanding service!! My family and I got stranded when my truck wouldn’t start and we were towing a camper. The Grace auto team came and towed my truck and camper to their shop. They let us setup our camper so we could have lunch and keep everyone safe during this pandemic. Within 3 hours, they had gotten a new starter and fixed the truck. Price for all of their support was very reasonable. Highly recommend to anyone that needs service in or near the BV area. Huge thanks from me and my family.

We were in town from out of state and had an emergency, after calling a dozen places this was the only place in the area that would make time for us! Definitely a God send and much appreciated. They were fast, friendly and accurate! Definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! I wish there were more mechanics like this around!Service: General repairs maintenance
