The ramen here is so so good. I was so bummed when they were closed on a Sunday recently! If you get a chance, this is a MUST try ramen spot. Never disappointed. View all feedback.
What Joseph Loi doesn't like about Ramen Tsukemen Tao:
Originally my review was 5 stars but I have since downgraded it to 2. The food is just no longer good, and definitely not Bib Gourmand worthy. When I first discovered this spot it had yet to receive the BG, and everything about it was perfect. Nowadays, the dishes are too salty, noodles are not the same as before, and the meats (ie chashu) are just poorer quality compared to the pre-BG years. The price has also incre... View all feedback.
Great food, seated right away outside, which was a pleasant surprise with a party of 6, and though we didn’t get the full ambiance off inside which looks great, I’d highly recommend trying this place. Can’t wait to have it on a cool rainy winter day.

Wanted to try this place since it's very close to where I live. Went with something simple. Ordered 1 rice&beef bowl (gyu-don) and an order of potstickers (gyoza). I give a 7 out of 10. Staff was very nice. Very small location. Maybe 15-20 capacity. Also hot inside. Need to crank the ac.I may come back at some point my son's love ramen. I would recommend this place to others.
How do I start off this review? I saw it was a Michelin guide restaurant (not star) but thought it was interesting to try. So I went on a 85°c day, but it was boiling hot inside like the air conditioner was out. I don 't know if this is a regular issue but even the workers weren 't happy with the heat. Not exactly the most pleasant of atmosphere but that 's fine if the food is good. I started off with a karaage which was great. It was crispy, cooked to perfection and had a great sauce to go with it(Kewpie). Then we get started with the spicy red ramen. While the noodles and accompanying ingredients are great and plentiful, the broth that 's used for it is definitely a disappointment. Simply put, it 's way too salty even if we say it 's authentic , because authentic ramen is nowhere near this salty. While it 's definitely flavorful, the saltiness just overpowers everything. I 'd love to say it 's only my ramen that was affected but other people with me who got the white ramen also had the same complaints about saltiness. I wouldn 't be coming here again even if the reviews from others are great or the prices of salt skyrocket.
