The service here is pretty good and waiting is never long, but this is not always a good thing! It is my second time to come here and I never let think “wow that was incredible!” Everything here is normal and good, but for the price of dinner AYCE $33) I would expect a higher quality. This was our favorite restaurant for years, but within the last year it has come under new ownership. Unfortunately, they have changed the way the rolls are made and the nigiri sushi pieces are now much smaller. The rolls are prepared differently and no longer taste as amazing as they used to. I've been going here since it first opened. Food has gradually declined. Service is terrible, especially the cussing manager. He became angry when i asked about the gratuity. Had a difficult time ordering after 1st round as server wouldn't bring back our sheet. At one point i asked for your sheet, server said no but brought the sheet. No refills drinks were a tad less 3/4 full, even water.Patio and parking lot are relatively close. As a nonsmoker I don't appreciate people smoking while I'm eating. There were other guest smoking in the parking lot as we ate.I was expected to pay gratuity for 4 adults 2 kids but also expected to share hot sauce with everyone on the table. We were given 2 sides of hot sauce, when we asked specifically for 4.4 adults were AYCE!Definitely under new ownership, service, attitude and food reflects it.Avoid this place, make the drive to Norwalk location!
Ordered takeout from here, called to see if they could cook my salmon for me in a roll and they were extremely understanding and nice, accommodated my request and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be making this sushi place my go-to from here on out!Food: 5/5
Sushi was good, but more rice than what we like. There were 12 of us, celebrating our son 's bodybuilding win, and the service was almost excellent, despite the demands of 12 people, 10 of which ordered all you can eat! The place looks rather dumpy from the street and I was a bit worried w the older look, but it was VERY clean.Food: 4/5
This is our go-to local spot for AYCE sushi. While I see some complaints about the price, I gladly pay for my family to enjoy the consistent quality of Ozen. With Covid closures and inflation, we are happy to support this establishment even with raised prices. We have tried other nearby restaurants recently and were disappointed. Thanks Ozen for always delivering great quality and quick service.
AYCE for $40, it's so worth it. Everything is delicious and made to order. Service is excellent, the servers are attentive and proactive. Not pictured are all the appetizers ordered (there's even a mini poke salad, yum! .Food: 5/5
