Excellent!!!! Good service ambience food chooses and overall quality. We really enjoyed it and would revisit this place over and over. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the taste of the food was excellent View all feedback.
What JamesL doesn't like about Chicken-to-go:
I grew up going to the chicken house and was excited to go again since I live out of state but sadly the experience was less than amazing. We waited over 2 hours due to them supposedly losing our ticket, and when they finally brought out the food things were missing or wrong, so we ended up just leaving. Recommending is kind of hard at the moment because we have had nothing but good experiences in the past and there... View all feedback.
There was just so much food for a set price. Only dinner available on weekends, but the chicken and dumplings were enough for 3. Definitely having leftovers for lunch! The biscuits were hot and ready for butter and jam. The salad was the low point of the entire meal with too much arugula for my taste. The chicken pot pie was also massive and very tasty. The cherry rhubarb never fails to impress and the pie had to be boxed for later. No room left, I am afraid. A shout out to the boysenberry beer for its subtle taste and low bubbles. It is definitely worth a taste. Our server, Billy, handled the lunch crowd like a champ and tended to us like a pro.
Food was decent , gravy needs improvement, corn on the cob instead of kernel corn. The thing I couldn't get over was a soft drink , Diet Coke you charged $6.99!!!!! That's just outright stupid, kinda makes me want to eat elsewhere.
I feel like for some fried chicken and a cheeseburger $70, not including tip, was a bit much. It was fun for the experience but I didn't feel like I had great service. I never got a refill on my drink and I had to go look for someone to get my check. I do realize that were very busy. Everyone was very friendly but I wouldn't do it again.

I was disappointed by the bad attitude of the hostess when we checked in. She looks annoyed with us and told us to wait on the side. And past our reservation time our table was ready. The restaurant was under staffed so our poor server was trying to attend to so many tables, our food took a long time to come.
