We tried 3 restaurants in Porto Ottiolu and this one was by far the best. Lovely service, the waiting staff were great, very attentive and knowledgeable and with a sense of humour. Food was really good, my husband had the catch of the day and I had lobster, both were delicious. The waiter recommended the lemon cake for dessert and he was quite right, it was absolutely superb! The cost was a bit more than we anticipated because the price for the fish was in weight and there was a slight error on the menu beware! We didn't really mind though because we'd had such a good evening.

After having a mediocre meal elsewhere at the marina , we thought we would try somewhere different. As we walked passed the restaurant we saw a waiter and asked if we could book a table for that evening but an hour later and could we have a table outside. He didn’t take our name. An hour later we returned and he remembered ourselves and showed us to a great seat outside . We thought this is a good start. Ordered wine , a caprese starter and 2 grilled lobsters . Starter arrived and was ok in fairness . Lobster arrived and looked good . As I started to eat mine, I though some of the tail meat looked a little translucent but with the light fading it was hard to tell. My wife asked me to crack the claws open of her lobster and we could see even in the poor light the meat was translucent as there was no dressing on the claws . I showed my wife and she said that she wasn’t going to say anything but she felt the tail meat of her lobster did not have a great texture. I called the waiter over and showed him the claw meat . I explained that the lobster was not cooked . They took the dishes away and returned and said they would give us 2 more . At this point we just wanted to get out of the restaurant and declined the replacement lobsters . A short while later I asked for the bill and was told a couple of minutes . A couple of minutes later he returned with 2 lobsters. Explained we said we did not want them and already said we didn’t previously. He took the lobsters back to the kitchen. The bill came out and they had taken one lobster off the bill. I paid the bill and said to the waiter you can’t serve under cooked shell fish as it can make you seriously I’ll or kill you. He said “sorry , but we have been busy”!!! Any undercooked shell fish can have serious short term, mid term and long term side effects. Being busy is not an excuse to potentially seriously damage someone’s health. Needlessly to say we had an anxious night and no doubt remain anxious for the next 24hrs
