Lakes Beach Cafe - BUDGEWOI

We have only sampled the chips from this place, and they were gooooood! The service was nice and pleasant. But a word to visitor unfamiliar with Australian beach etiquette. If you decide to stay and eat during the hotter months, you will be eating in an area populated with some very scantily clad (semi-naked) people of all ages, shapes, and sizes!

The management need to seriously address the fact that staff bang out the food without any apparent regard for the customer's health ... the need to wear the required gloves when making hot food etc ... that is standard NSW Food safety requirements!

Good tucker for a quick bite, service good & food also, family friendly & with a relaxed atmosphere, good for a group

Good food and reasonably priced, very friendly staff lots of room for families close to beach would recommend

This is a nice, but often very busy, little car park cafe in the "Lakes Beach Surf Life Saving Club" carpark! You can sit at the cafe and eat and drink or you can stroll over the sand dune and watch the ocean and the beach denizens! The food is good, the staff are good, but it is a beach side cafe, so the staff are often dressed in bikinis etc.
