I've visited this place many times over the years, and it consistently impresses. It's a great hotel with a wide variety of food options. The layout is well-organized, keeping the dining areas separate from the bar and live sports sections. This makes it a fantastic spot for outings with friends, or for family gatherings where you want to enjoy a meal away from the different activities. They also host poker games now, which adds to the entertainment. Plus, the location near the lake is beautiful, and the drive-thru bottle shop is a nice convenience as well.
I absolutely enjoyed my gluten- and dairy-free marinated tuna salad—so delicious!
The beer garden is fantastic, featuring amazing live music from 'Dorf.' I really enjoyed the fish tacos and chips!
I had lunch here with a friend on Anzac Day, and it was incredibly busy. Fortunately, we managed to find a seat despite the limited availability. Parking was a bit challenging due to the crowd, and I noticed there wasn’t a clearly designated parking area, though I might have overlooked it. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was reasonably priced and came out fairly quickly, especially given the high volume of customers. Our meals were fresh, hot, and well-seasoned. The atmosphere was lively and noisy due to the holiday, but everyone was well-behaved, and it would be much easier to hear on a quieter day. I would definitely come back for another meal in the future.
