The power went out for a couple of days during the floods, so my partner and I went on the hunt to find somewhere nice for breakfast and we stumbled upon the chopping block. WOW, what a great little cafe on the Main Street of Buderim. Fresh squeezed juice, eggs benedict, great interior vibe. The staff were friendly, the prices were average, will go back. What User doesn't like about The Chopping Block:
I ordered and paid for breakfast for eight people, it wasn't cheapest breakfast around and the acia bowl for was very small for $18 (compared to other times i have ordered it) I asked for my bacon to be well cooked as in crisp, but my bacon was the only one not cooked. View all feedback.
The quality of the food and coffee was good and the service pleasant. The cafe is spacious enough to feel comfortable and there are a few pavement tables too. While nothing gives an impression of outstanding, the overall experience is certainly satisfying. The only negative was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen.
I have been here several times and each time the food has been great. One of my favourite places to eat. Not the most budget friendly but I love the food here and the service is good.
The chopping block has a great selection for breakfast and love their smoothies, never really dined here for such but if the fare is as good as their morning offering I'm sure it would be a winner
Despite it being a busy Sunday morning, the service was very fast and the food fantastic. The menu is interesting and varied and the atmosphere very relaxed. It's a lovely place to enjoy a meal and conversation or just read a magazine if dining alone.
