Was looking for a fairly quick meal before my husband and I had tickets to see a movie. Very conveniently located across from the cinema we decided on Sultans. Great authentic Turkish menu to choose from. Our waitress was lovely and the food came out within about 15-20 min which was great for us. Food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the moussaka and it was so watery that I couldn't eat. Deforested?! Not only that, a waitress was taking orders without a note pad which is unprofessional. View all feedback.

Waitress did not seem to know much about dishes. Meals were average to below average with kofta tasting like cheap sausage meat rather than lamb. Another three meat type of 'pizza' was also like minced sausage meat. Tje sultans special like a bread pocket filled with greens, lamb and cheese was tasty and the only reasonable dish.Normal coffees were ok. However Turkish coffee was made with water which must have boiled several times and tasted awful. Very disappointing.

This restaurant previously offered beautiful meals and you were left wondering what to order, it has definitely gone downhill. Our visit was very disappointing, the veal tasted like plastic and was served with rice and creamed potato - absolutely no flavour. Living on the Sunshine Coast amongst a wealth of fresh fruit and vegetables to choose the chef could certainly add some flavour to the menu.

One waitress (of Asian heritage) came to clear our table, but when we asked her about the menu, she passed us off to another waitress who took our orders without writing anything down. The first waitress then returned with only one drink instead of two, and brought duplicates when we asked for the missing one. When the meals finally arrived, they were poorly presented, tasteless, and missing elements we had ordered. When we complained about the food and service, the waitress showed complete contempt for us and even told us to leave and never come back. The manager did nothing to intervene, and it was a completely unprofessional and unacceptable experience. I would rather throw away $100 than eat here again. The staff here are the worst I have encountered in 25 years. Avoid this place at all costs - it deserves a zero out of 10. Overall, a terrible experience in every aspect.

I visited the restaurant this morning. The young Asian girl who was working there seemed disinterested in serving us. I was looking forward to dining there, but her rude behavior turned me off.

Sultans is a charming restaurant located on the canal that offers a wonderful setting for a family gathering.
