The 2 girl staff in this small subway were very friendly but unfortunately they were moving to other premises away from the area.
A fairly small Subway restaurant on the Main Street into Mooloolaba.Family owned and operated, with a few non family casual staff, this Subway location is friendly, clean and well run.Unlike the larger, nearby Maroochydore Subway restaurant, there is no Drive Thru.Unlike many Subway restaurants there are NO free refills on Coke and other drinks from the soda machine.Apparently this is because clients from a nearby Backpackers were abusing refills. But as a local I often steer clear of the Mooloolaba Subway because of the refills ban. Refills cost $1 here yet are free at many Subways in Australia and internationally. Convenient parking out front or in the free underground parking garage.
Subway é um ótima alternativa para quem quer gastar pouco e comer algo mais saudável. Geralmente tem promoções de $5.95 com refrigerante e cookie. É uma alternativa boa e barata sem dúvidas
The service at this restaurant is shockingly bad. There doesn't seem to be any employee training at all. When I ordered a simple ham, cheese, and tomato sandwich, I was surprised to see the staff member shrug and admit they weren't sure how to make it. The older lady who seemed to be in charge was also unhelpful. I was even scolded for trying to correct an order mistake that was made. Customer service expectations were definitely not met at this sandwich shop. I even heard from a friend that one of the workers was yelled at for not doing a good job. This is not how a business should be run. I am extremely disappointed, especially considering this is a global food chain.
The restaurant used to be very good, but there has been a noticeable change in management and staff. The previous employees were fantastic - friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the new staff does not measure up. I have been disappointed by recent experiences, including a lack of toppings on my sandwich and receiving a crushed cookie instead of a new one. I expressed my dissatisfaction, but was told that was all they had. I'm sorry, Subway Mooloolaba, but we will not be returning.
