Cotton Tree Seafoods - Buderim

Very good seafood. We stayed at Maroochydore Park for 3 nights and ate here two times. First we went to the other fish and chip shop and it was rough. So this place is much better. Fresher fish and burgers much better and... owners are very nice

The fresh shrimps were fantastic. I recommend the seafood basket, great. There was a good selection of fish species, all the guys shaved how beautiful it was.

I only have a small portion of chips and they were the best damn chips I had in a LONG time, great real Aussie service good vibes:

We stopped a short bite before we go to Brisbane. We ordered the two napkins grilled cod with chips that came to about $35. When we tried to eat it, we were very disappointed. The chips were boiled and all dried. You could taste the “old” oil that has not been changed for some time. The fish was not very tasteful, so glad I asked it grilled, otherwise I would eat the oil stale oil that it used to freeze the chips. Overall, the experience of fishing and chips at Cotton Tree Seafood was quite bad, this is a "once is enough" type of space. It is best to go one street or two in both directions from this business to find a decent meal. Don't waste money in this place. Cotton tree seafood, not recommended.

We had fish and chips and the whole family agreed the quality was average. For example the chips weren’t golden and crunchy but were soft. They also don’t do burgers which is unusual for a fish and chip shop. I wouldn’t go back given there...are other fish and chip shops nearby to try instead.
