Excellent eating, amazing service and great atmosphere. by the cook and the staff around us, many thanks for making you so special tonight

Have the best food here! my partner is a Fussy vegetarian who doesn't like mushrooms, tomatoes and aubergine, which is the main ingredient in most veggie dishes and they were so accommodating. the truffle oil fries side and sea bass main were from this world. on par to some Michelin-star restaurants we were

Nice eating and excellent service just excellent, thanks

The atmosphere and the staff were nice but the food let it down mostly because of portions. The only meal that I felt was enough to fill a belly was the fish &chips. The cheapest thing on the menu, and that was very good. My husband had the £30 steak, which was a little piece half the size of my palm, and a smaller portion of chips because they put it in a little bucket, but there was nothing else on the plate! I had to cook another meal for him when I got home! We did also have starters of aranchini, which was 4 little balls stacked in a tower, but again there was no garnish or effort put into presentation. It looked lost on the plate. I had the venison scotch egg which, was a tiny ball cut in half. With a quail egg inside, something that small must be difficult to cook, and I assumed the chef looked at it and deemed it cooked, but the tiny layer of meat looked raw. I ate it anyway because I was starving and I assumed maybe it was one of those meats you could eat pink, but then I did suffer a bit of gastric in the evening, so maybe not.
