As a main we got some mix of sashimi, which personally I didnt like, but we got grilled cod as well and that one was delicious. Service was nice and helpful and the place got a really good vibe. From the moment we walked in, the wait staff made us feel genuinely welcome super friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The sushi was absolutely incredible. Each piece was tender, incredibly fresh, and clearly made with care. I’ve had sushi all over, but this place easily ranks at the very top of my list. The gyoza was something special perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, paired with a unique, flavorful sauce that took it to another level. Even the small details stood out: the bathrooms were spotless, and the menu layout was perfect clear descriptions on the left with matching pictures on the right, making it easy to choose dishes confidently. I’ve worked in the service... read more I’m a huge Japanese food fan. I saw the reviews on Tokio so decided to see it for myself and honestly it didn’t live up to the hype. I’ve worked in the service industry for 6 years so I say this from that perspective. A staff member mimicked a customer talking and another poured a dog’s bowl of water into a plant next to an outdoor table. Some improvements need to be made.
