special Hungarian space in the city center, near the opera. try the fresh brot when you are there. everything is simple, this is the reason why it is special. try the 2nd floor, also beautiful. They can eat a nice evening lunch with a beautiful wine. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Puli:
The cold meat platter was on the small side and contained plenty of fat in the sausage. The beer glass was hot so I assume straight out of the dishwasher and under the beer tap. So not the best but not the worst place around the center. View all feedback.

Really good menu with traditional Hungarian meals, beautiful wines and good value for money. Catered for vegetarians who was not easy to find.
Very friendly service, advice on the wine was on site. Comfort food in fantastic Hungarian version:
Arrived late in budapest to walk from this place and was pretty busy decided to try. I had the goulash, foie gras brot and duck salat. the suppe was ok, nothing special. the foie gras was very buttery and amazing the roasted duck was delicious. the service was somewhat slow, but it was the end of the night. I give them a pass after a long day. definitely recommend.
My son wanted to try goose liver; specialty in Budapest. The foods were quite good and delicious, our services from waiter were pleasant, waitresses were not so hardworking though, often seen chatting. However prices were considered higher than other tourist places we visited.
