This café on Andrássy avenue offers a variety of VG options, including VG croissant, VG quiche and VG sandwich. I had a VG cheese and vegetable sandwich that they heated for me. It was a bit dry and not super flavourful, but did the job of killing my hunger. The latte was very nice. And a bonus: they are not a 100% VG café and still don't charge extra for plant mylk. Rare find in Budapest!
Super coffee which is available with almond, rice and soy milk. For eating they have vegan cheese sandwich, salad, fresh pressed juices, wheatgrass shot and green smoothie and sometimes there are vegan pastries available. I really like the atmosphere of this place and the coffee food and people are really nice.
This restaurant is always bustling with people, including students with laptops. They serve the best coffee in town, but the food options are very limited and not recommended.
A few weeks ago, I visited this restaurant with a friend. I had heard that it was organic and vegan-friendly, so as a vegan, I was looking forward to trying it. However, when I arrived, I saw meat, cheese, and buttery pastries on display, with only a small salad bar at the end of the counter. The salad bar had a limited selection of greens and vegetables, but no vegan proteins. I ended up having a plate of leaves and tomatoes with a shot of wheatgrass juice, which was a very disappointing experience.
