Absolutely fantastic dinner! Probably the best I’ll have over my 7 days in Budapest. Where to begin? The waitress was extremely caring, providing thoughtful suggestions to the menu that added to the experience. I ordered the chateaubriand steak and it was cooked perfectly (photos for proof! You might try to keep all veg options always available as they are already few Updated from previous review on 2022-11-12
I really enjoyed the food here. Although I’ll be hungry soon. The bean loaf was great! Recommended
Great authentic Hungarian non-vegetarian fare with a couple of vegetarian options. I had the dinner salad and bean meat loaf both of which were delicious. The food presentation and service was exceptional. At 7 PM there is live violin/piano music which was well done and entertaining. The decor is high-end, but the prices reasonable. My only gripe would be the small portion of vegan meatloaf I was served. My partner's beef stew was approximately 4 times the size of my meal. So despite ordering dessert (the palacsinta was excellent), I was a bit hungry when I left.
