Was Allison Davis at Amici a mag?
My husband and I can't get enough of the meat bolognese pasta dish! It's absolutely amazing—truly to die for. The chef is incredibly talented, and the food consistently impresses. Every penny spent is worth it! This is the best Italian food I've ever had, and the staff is really friendly too. View all feedback.
What Chris Rachel Michael dislikes about Amici:
The prices for this subpar food are outrageous. The entrees were just plain noodles with four shrimp tossed on top—nothing elaborate at all. They even ran out of protein for the second entree. The salads were simply a bit of mixed greens with three cherry tomatoes. The total bill came to $103! Save your time and money; go to Ilario’s instead! Amazing 5-star experience on a trip to Austin. Just south in the small town of Buda, which is super charming, we found Amici. Glad we did. Owned by a husband and wife from New York, who Amici is producing fantastic legit Italian food from a food truck ina charming spot under huge oak trees. We had the Chicken Parmesan, shrimp fra diavolo, ceaser salad and tiramisu for dessert. All were incredible! Came with bread and oil and and charming conversation with the owners. BYOB if your eating there as noalcohol is sold on site. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I've been in a restaurant business since I was 16. I've seen restaurants treat people in a really bad way customers and employees. If you refuse to serve a customer 10 minutes before you close and you have a pattern of doing this it will not lookgood for your future. It will definitely hurt your chances of having a brick and mortar. I was trying to deliver for a customerand you guys answered the phone and told me it was okay to call back and place the order once I got a substitution. I wasliterally around the corner. You told me you were closed and you started closing everything up. That is a pet peeve a lot ofcustomers have when they go to a restaurant if that happens to them they will probably never come back. I will not be comingback to even deliver. My Reply: I was literally on Robert S. Black and Main Street when I called at 8:48 p.m. on a Fridaynight which is the money maker bread and butter night of the week for any restaurant. I arrived there at 8:52 and it was 4minutes later. The very friendly young lady that picked up when I mentioned it was for a GrubHub should have told me that theyou stopped taking orders. This was a order and pay order. Anyways it's the past. No I won't change the rating.
I can?t say enough about this place! I?m a huge fan of mozzarella sticks and these are like butter! I also tried the Branzino Piccata and tiramisu for the first time and it was so delicious! If you?re in the area you have to come check this place out! It?s women owned! Elpida is amazing and has a very welcoming spirit as if you?ve known her forever.

The staff was fantastic—always attentive and very friendly. Having lived in Naples for a few years, I appreciated being able to converse with them in their native language. The food is quite authentic. The location is spacious, although it seems to be shared with Stoney's Pizza (just the space); Amici makes their own pizzas. Exiting the parking lot heading west can be a bit tricky, but it's manageable. They are only open in the evenings, but it is definitely worth the visit and the taste. You won’t regret it!
We had an absolutely perfect experience! Elpida and her husband/daughter catered our team event, and if it were possible to give them 6 stars, we definitely would! It was a top-notch experience! We highly recommend either dining in or hiring them for any event you might have!
Great food and service. While it was busy the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Now serves wine and beer. Will also be taking over the pizza business that is there.
Great food and service fee fee had beef ravioli and I had spaghetti bolognese both fantastic as was appetizer and bread served
The food here is excellent, and the service is superb, but the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired. This cozy café shares its dining space and counter with Stony's Pizza, which can make it feel somewhat crowded. There’s limited seating, especially during busy times, and it’s not uncommon for conversations from nearby tables to drown out your own. Unfortunately, this is a challenge that comes with sharing the space. That said, the food is fantastic, and we’ve already visited several times, eager to try more of the delicious pasta dishes on the menu. Plus, it's currently BYOB until they secure their liquor license—what a bonus! I wish it could remain that way forever; if it did, we would definitely come even more often. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, who is incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Fantastic Italian food in downtown Buda. It’s a good truck run by a husband and wife that have incredible experience in Italian cuisine. The food was incredible, service was 5 star as they came out and talked to us and delivered our food and our desert. A must try in Buda and worth the drive from Austin!! Try the Shrimp pasta Fra diavolo! Was incredible.
Kid-friendliness: It's located right by the park and has games for kids to enjoy near the outdoor seating. Dietary restrictions: They have great options for both gluten-free and vegetarian diets!
We absolutely love the shrimp fra diavolo, Bolognese, and the Greek dishes! They always serve us this incredible fresh, soft bread alongside our pasta. As for parking, it's pretty decent!
The lasagna was absolutely amazing! They even provided us with extra bread and festive decorations as a holiday gift, which was such a lovely gesture. The customer service was outstanding – definitely a 11/10. If you find yourself in Buda, this place is a must-visit!
We were in the area and decided to check this place out! There are numerous food trucks in this little spot, which makes it great to sample different vendors. However, I must mention that the prices were on the higher side for food trucks. We spent around $43 for two pasta dishes. We were curious to see what all the hype was about. The sauce was very creamy, and they generously portioned it with the pasta. Everything is made fresh, and each entree comes with bread and oil. For a food truck, their pasta was impressive, and they offer a wide variety of options on the menu. There weren't many people at this food truck, which I suspect is due to the pricing. Overall, it was good, and I would return to try more items from their menu.

AMAZING food, carbonara was so delicious!! Will definitely go again for that authentic Italian taste! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Authentic Spaghetti Carbonara Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking
Amazing food and wonderful service! The cleopatra salad is my favorite goat cheese, candied almonds, and you can’t forget the truffle honey dressing If you add chicken they give you your money’s worth and it’s so fresh and juicy. Highly recommend! Kid friendliness: Right by the park with games for kids too near outside seating Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options are great! Service: Dine in
They catered our wedding and were, without a doubt, the easiest and best vendor I worked with. We had several guests with serious dietary restrictions, and they absolutely loved the meal. The service was fantastic, and communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I truly cannot recommend them highly enough!
