I am giving this restaurant one star simply because it looks authentic. I dined here with a friend and found a long black hair in my food. I reported it to the waiter, who had short black hair, so it was obviously not his. The manager did not apologize and instead sent the waiter back to apologize as if it was his fault. I have been a chef for 25 years and take great pride in my food. One of my favorite things to do is try different places to eat. By far, this is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. I ordered enchiladas, my favorite Mexican food to eat. The rice was hard as a rock. The refried beans seemed like they took it out of the can and watered it down. Absolutely no garnish on anything like you would expect in a good restaurant. Our four tops food came in 7 minutes which seemed odd. To me it seemed they plated everything from a hot buffet line. The waitress was not attentive at all. I thought they deserved no tips at all, but we tipped them because we are good people. Bathroom was very nasty. My family was sick within a half hour of leaving, fed my to go container to the dogs.
The food was not good at all, even the salsa was off.
Wouldn’t sing happy birthday to my mother who turned 87 today, because of covid. We’ve been taking her forever for her birthday and they couldn’t do it! They always did. Only think good about the place is the Mexican rice. salsa was too spicy burnt my tongue, too hot.
